As one who has been involved in an apologetics ministry for years, it sickens me, and I'm sure my colleagues, to be accused of "attacking" the most dangerous and prolific false prophets and false teachers of our day, especially when clear-cut, easy-to-comprehend documentation is provided.

WELCOME TO ATTACKSVILLE, USA:

"Why are you attacking an anointed man of God?!" they ask.

"I'm warning you! Stop attacking this prophet of God!" they warn.

"Who are you to attack the anointed? If he is wrong then God will deal with him, not you!" they ramble.

"Heresy hunter! Heresy hunter! You are on dangerous ground for attacking a child of God!" they yell.

"I've never heard him say that. You're just making that up. You will suffer for your attacks on the servants of the Lord!" they threaten.

And on, and on, and on. Their carbon-copy cr! ies are as a broken record, with nothing more to offer than accusations.

With all of the "attacking" going on, one would think the one exposing the deception had led a hoard of savage Vikings into a church or a crusade to successfully pillage, plunder and vandalize the works of God.

Please, give us a break. Cut us some slack. Chill-out and think.

The Christian gains discernment by studying God's word. Christians make God's word their final authority. Do your homework. Read and listen to the evidence, then compare the evidence with the final authority.

When you realize you have followed a false teacher--and have been conditioned to lash-out at those who share the truth in love--swallow your pride and join the battle against deception.

"The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1).
