AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PEOPLE OF JAPAN CONCERNING

BENNY HINN AND HIS 'HOLY SPIRIT MIRACLE CRUSADE'

Benny Hinn is scheduled to conduct his "Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade" at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan on July 15-17, 2006. And, according to his website, he is predicting that "'God is ready to do something spectacular in Japan'" ( http://tinyurl.com/ofva9 ).

It is no secret that controversy follows Benny Hinn in virtually every country he visits. Controversy raged in India, Fiji, and Trinidad & Tobago, where both Christians and non-Christians wrote articles, letters to government officials, Letters to the Editor of local newspapers, and news releases warning and protesting against Hinn's "healing" crusades (please refer to http://www.christianresearchservice.com/Benny_Hinn.htm for articles, letters, and news releases).

This year, in Fiji and Trinidad & Tobago, and Australia, government officials were provided with solid documentation proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that Benny Hinn is a false prophet, false teacher, and false healer. Yet many government officials sat on stage with Hinn during his crusades.

And despite the articles, books, videos, DVDs, and news media documentaries that expose Hinn's legacy of deception, professing Christians flock to to his "healing" crusades by the thousands, and blindly provide their hard-earned money to support Hinn's extravagant lifestyle of expensive homes, cars, jewelry, and custom-made clothing.

Benny Hinn's "Miracle" crusades leave a trail-of-tears and broken hearts. Many people who truly love the Lord attend the crusades with a hope and a prayer that they will be healed. But when they learn they aren't healed, they blame themselves and feel unworthy and undeserving.

Yes, God still heals and still performs miracles. But if Benny Hinn had the real Biblical gift of healing, as outlined in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, he would immediately go to the hospitals, emergency rooms, and nursing homes in every country he visits. But he doesn't, because Benny Hinn does not have the real Biblical gift of healing.

Now, as Benny Hinn returns to Japan, his legacy of deception will continue, that is, unless the Japanese people say, "Enough is enough!" and refuse to show up.

What would happen if Benny Hinn gave a crusade and Christians refused to show up? Hinn and his assortment of assistants and bodyguards would have to pack-up, board his multi-million dollar jet plane, and leave Japan, probably never to return.

Indeed, false prophets and false healers like Benny Hinn flourish because well-meaning, but gullible believers fail to put them to the Biblical test and study their Bibles (1 Thessalonians 5:21; 2 Timothy 2:15).

'Put Benny Hinn to the Biblical test. If

he fails, put him back on the plane!'

Christian Research Service suggests that the Japanese officials escort Benny Hinn and his entourage to the nearest hospital to "touch" the sick and dying. If Hinn has the real New Testament gift of healing (as outlined in 1 Corinthians chapter 12), then the bedridden and lame will walk; the diseased will be healed; the weak will be made strong; those with amputated limbs will instantly grow new arms and legs; children confined to wheelchairs with Spina Bifida and Multiple Sclerosis will get out of their wheelchairs and walk; the suffering will find peace; broken bodies will be mended; the blind will gain their sight; the deaf will hear; the dead will be raised to life.

However, if Benny Hinn fails the Biblical test, put him back on the plane!

But Benny Hinn won't go to the hospitals, because unlike his so-called "healing" crusades, the sick and dying in the hospitals, emergency rooms, and nursing homes are beyond his immediate control during his crusades--where the "healed" are handpicked from the crowd by a team of trained assistants.

Benny Hinn's  prophecies, teachings, and healing crusades are dangerous to the spiritual and physical welfare of believers worldwide. If you truly love Jesus Christ, then obey His Scriptural warnings in Matthew chapter 24, and stay completely away from the false teachers of our day.

Therefore, what is the alternative to attending Benny Hinn's crusade? Stay home. Spend time with your family. Read and study your Bible. Use your money to feed the hungry and shelter the homeless.

We truly love the people of Japan, and pray you will strongly consider this letter when Benny Hinn visits your country.

Sincerely in Christ,
