Letter to the People of The Netherlands Concerning Benny Hinn
Controversial faith healer, Benny Hinn, is scheduled to conduct a "Miracle Crusade" in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on August 31-September 1, 2007.
If you are planning to attend, it is important that you know the truth behind Benny Hinn's prophecies, teachings, and healings.
In 1989, Benny Hinn delivered a series of prophecies for the 1990's. He claimed they came from God, the Lord, and the Holy Spirit. While delivering these prophecies, he said that:
-- God would destroy the homosexual community of America with fire no later than 1994 or 1995.
-- A destructive earthquake will hit the east coast of the United States in the 1990's.
-- Cuban Communist dictator, Fidel Castro, will die in the 1990's.
-- A man, who is a perfect incarnation of Satan, will rule the world.
-- Jesus will be seen in the 1990's.
Since then, Benny Hinn has prophesied the return of Jesus Christ before 1992 and 1999, and that Jesus would appear "physically" during his crusades. He has also claimed to have had numerous visitations from "Jesus" and dead people (necromancy).
Benny Hinn is a part of the "name it and claim it" prosperity movement, which teaches that if Christians plant a generous "seed-faith" gift to the faith-healer, they will prosper and become wealthy.
Benny Hinn lives in a multi-million dollar mansion, wears custom-made clothing, drives expensive cars, travels around the world in a multi-million dollar jet, stays in 5-Star hotels, and is protected by armed bodyguards.
In the past, Benny Hinn has taught that:
-- there are nine persons in the Trinity.
-- he is a "god" and a "messiah" and Jesus Christ in the flesh.
-- Jesus would have sinned without the Holy Ghost.
-- Jesus became the same nature of Satan and had to be born again in hell.
The truth
The only ones who prosper from the prosperity movement are those who preach prosperity.
God is triune--three Persons, one God. There is only one God, one Messiah, and one Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was and is the perfect, sinless Savior, Who came to forgive and save sinful man.
Benny Hinn claims to have the gift of healing, but his "Miracle" crusades leave a trail-of-tears and broken hearts. Every year the suffering and dying flock to Benny Hinn's crusades with a hope and a prayer that they will receive their healing. But they leave the same way they came in--suffering and dying and in wheelchairs.
There is nothing miraculous about Benny Hinn's "Miracle" crusades. If he has the true Biblical gift of healing, why doesn't he go to the hospitals and emergency rooms in the places he conducts his "Miracle" crusades?
The truth is that Benny Hinn is a false prophet, false teacher, and false healer.
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep (2 Peter 2:1-3).
We love the people of The Netherlands, and pray that God will open your eyes to the truth behind the false prophets, false teachers, and false healers of our day.
