Dear Dr. Stanley:

This letter is a follow-up to my previous attempts to speak with you, my call to you today, as well as my October 21 letter sent to you c/o Paul Diamond and Don Black (see below).

As of now, there has yet to be a reply from you or your assistants.

Nevertheless, now that the Save America Now! telecast has been aired, I am curious as to whether you received my October 21 letter. Also, I am interested to learn of your future plans to associate with the Trinity Broadcasting Network and the DAYSTAR Television Network.

Please keep in mind that I have spent a considerable amount of time researching your First Baptist Church-Atlanta and In Touch Ministries websites. Needless to say, I am impressed with your defense of the faith, warnings about false doctrines, teachings on personal accountability and desire to reach the lost for Jesus Christ.

However, I am both amazed and disturbed that a teacher of your caliber and position would associate and fellowship with a variety of false teachers and false prophets--all of whom have caused great distress and damage to the cause of Christ and Christians worldwide.

One example is your participation in the recent Save America Now! telecast. Another example may be found within your In Touch Ministries "Choice Links" ( http://www.intouch.org/links_11920402.html )--which openly advertises and promotes the Trinity Broadcasting Network and the DAYSTAR Television Network--both of which are the heretical breeding ground of Creflo Dollar, Rod Parsley, Kenneth Copeland and the world's most prolific false prophet and false teacher, Benny Hinn.

Dr. Stanley, please be assured that my reason for contacting you is not to impress my colleagues and constituents, nor sensationalism, but to inform and educate you, with the hope you will immediately distance yourself and ministries from the wolves that have gained a solid grip within the Christian church (Acts 20:27-31; Ephesians 5:11).

This will be my last attempt to contact you. It is my prayer that you will consider the seriousness of this issue and contact me at your earliest possible convenience.

Dear Dr. Stanley:

 

I tried calling you today, but was informed you would be on vacation until November 7. Nevertheless, I am aware of your busy schedule and will be as brief as possible. 

 

While reading the October 21 CharismaNow article, "Evangelist's Primetime TV Special Calls Nation to Prayer For Elections," I was disturbed to find your name listed as one scheduled to appear on Morris Cerullo's October 29-November 1, Save America Now! telecast.

 

The article states, in part:

 

"Christian leaders and musicians who are scheduled to appear on the program include Jerry Falwell, Ted Haggard, Kenneth Copeland, Cindy Jacobs, Keith Butler, Charles Stanley, Tommy Tenney, Jack Van Impe, Judy Jacobs, Eddie and Alice Smith, and Sandi Patty"  ( http://www.charismanews.com , emp. added).

Along with the above, as of this writing, Cerullo's "Board of Reference" on his Save America Now! website contains approximately 61 names, many of whom are documented false teachers and false prophets ( http://www.save-america-now.com/bor.php . For further information, please refer to the Recommended Apologetics Ministries below).

Dr. Stanley, by lending your name and presence to this event, you are lending credibility to and fellowshipping with a variety of false prophets and false teachers (Jeremiah 23:16-32; Romans 16:7).

Unless otherwise informed, I am confident that you do not agree with the myriad of heresies and false prophecies being promoted within the Word-Faith/New Apostolic Reformation movements. Also, I am confident you would not allow these and others like them to occupy a teaching or preaching position within First Baptist Church Atlanta.  

Therefore, it is my prayer that you will strongly consider the seriousness of this situation, and separate yourself from the Save America Now! telecast and the numerous "wolves" promoting it (Acts 20:27-31; Ephesians 5:11).

Thank you, Dr. Stanley. I look forward to hearing from no one else but you, and would appreciate your reply prior to the airing of the October 29 Save America Now! telecast.
