Joshua Mills: A Whale of a Fish Story

Documented proof that fish wear sunglasses

Fishermen have been known to exaggerate. Their adding ten inches to a five inch fish and telling stories of a world record that slipped out of their hands has been around since the invention of the hook, line, and sinker.

But the fish story Joshua Mills told on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural show is one for the record book, and the type of story that is destined to be mounted on the We Don't Make This Stuff Up wall.

Joshua Mills is the co-founder of New Wine International. According to his website, Mills,

...worships and preaches by standing within the cloud and ministering directly from the glory unto the people. He has written well over 600 songs and is known for his ability to lead people into spontaneous worship. During his services signs and wonders are commonplace with manifestations of supernatural oil and gold dust, creative healings, supernatural weight-loss, financial miracles, Angelic visitation and heavenly encounters. [ http://www.newwinerevival.org/AboutJJ.html ]

Indeed, Mills is no stranger to "signs and wonders" and "supernatural manifestations." Photos of Mills with gold glitter in the palm of his hands and oil dripping from his fingers grace a few pages of Patricia King's Extreme Prophetic website ( http://tinyurl.com/c2geqw ).

Elsewhere, Joshua Mills is a regular on the ElijahList, and has made guest appearances on hyper-Charismatic fan-favorites such as God TV, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Sky Angel, Inspiration Network, and Patricia King's Extreme Prophetic Television.

But palms littered with glitter and fingers dripping with oil don't hold a candle to what Joshua Mills told Sid Roth during the March 23, 2009 episode of It's Supernatural. Here is an excerpt from the official transcript:

Sid: I know I am stretching some of you right now I might as well stretch you all the way, you see in the Arctic area you need sunglasses because the glare could blind you, and so there was a woman out, was she fishing or?

Joshua: She was going out on the water to go fishing, and she had these sunglasses on to keep her direction and when she went out into the water God began blessing her with such a wonderful catch of fish she just continued to pull them in, she was pulling up this big fish Sid, and as she leaned over the boat the glasses fell off her head into the water.

Sid: So this was dangerous, she could loose her eyesight.

Joshua: It was a big situation for her, but instead of being worried, she just knew that she served a miracle working God and that He would take care of all the problems that she might have, and so she just continued fishing, just continued bringing in the wonderful catch of fish, she was ready to go back, she was pulling in the last catch of the day and as she was pulling in this big fish, she looked down on the fish, here he was wearing a pair of sunglasses on his face.

Sid: The fish was wearing sunglasses?

Joshua: The fish was wearing sunglasses.

Sid: I have never seen a fish with sunglasses, have you?

Joshua: The wonderful part about this testimony is that it wasn't the same pair of sunglasses that she lost, but it was a brand new pair, a better pair of sunglasses than the ones she lost. [ PDF file, page 7]

Unbelievable? What's the problem? Frogs wear sunglasses ( click here ). Mice wear sunglasses ( click here ). Turtles wear sunglasses ( click here ). Sharks wear sunglasses ( click here ). Even the California Raisins wear sunglasses ( click here ). So, why can't fish wear sunglasses?

If you still have a problem, here is further proof ( click here ). That is one cool fish! I wonder if he sings and plays a guitar?

Nevertheless, thank you, Joshua Mills, for one whale of a fish story. It is your best story yet--for only the gullible will swallow it hook, line, and sinker.
