Is Kenneth Copeland Equal with God?

Do not add to His words or He will reprove you,
and you will be proved a liar. --Proverbs 30:6

The following is an excerpt from Kenneth Copeland's "prophecy" during the November 14, 2009 Victory Campaign in Washington, DC. The title of the prophecy is "Ambassadors for the Glory of God," and may be read in full at
http://www.kcm.org/real-help/prophecy/ambassadors-glory-god . Keep in mind that Copeland claims the prophecy came from "Jesus":
“So don’t think you’re stealing from Me and robbing Me of My honor and My place as God by claiming to be equal with Me. No. You rob Me when you do not claim to be equal with Me,” saith the Lord. “Read My Word again and find out if it’s true or not. I made you equal with Me. I made you. You didn’t make yourself equal. No man could. An awesome price was paid for your joint heirship with Me,” saith the Lord. “So rejoice and take your place and walk in My blessing and in the greatness and the mightiness of the power of My Name,” saith the Lord. [emp. added]
Sound familiar? Lucifer tried to make himself "like the Most High" but failed miserably (Isaiah 14:11-15). And, that man can be "like God" is straight from the serpent's lying tongue in Genesis 3:5.
Further, for years, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, and many others within the Word of Faith movement have plagiarized Lucifer's words, and have convinced the gullible that they are "gods" and that they are equal with God. In fact, listen in as Kenneth Copeland and others claim to be deity and blaspheme the Creator and Sustainer of the universe:
Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, Kenneth Copeland:
Kenneth Copeland:
Kenneth Copeland Adam is God
Benny Hinn little god

"Master Prophet" E. Bernard Jordan:
Rev. Ike:
To claim to be a "god" or "little god" or "God" is outright blasphemy and calls the God of the Bible a liar. The question, Can man be a "god" or a Savior? is answered fully in one Scripture:
"You are My witnesses," declares the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the LORD, and there is no savior besides Me" (Isaiah 43:10-11).
According to Kenneth Copeland, Jesus told Copeland, "I made you equal with Me." But is man equal with God? Can man ever be equal with God? God warned about these very things thousands of years before Copeland and the Word of Faith heretics slithered into the Christian church:
You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, that what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me", or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"? (Isaiah 29:16)
"To whom then will you liken Me that I would be his equal?" says the Holy One (Isaiah 40:25).
To whom would you liken Me and make Me equal and compare Me, that we would be alike? (Isaiah 46:5)
God's written word teaches that men and women are not and never will be a "god" or "god" or equal with God (Deuteronomy 4:35-39; Isaiah 41:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Isaiah 44:8; Isaiah 45:5-6; Isaiah 45:21; Hosea 13:4; Joel 2:27; John 1-14; John chapter 8; John chapter 10; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:8; Revelation 1:4-8).
God said it. That settles it. There is but One God, Who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Everything else is a man-made counterfeit and fabrication.
Men and women who claim they are deity are saying they are worthy of being worshipped. This is not Christian, it is cultic, and deadly serious business. One cannot be a Christian and claim to be deity at the same time.
The "Jesus" who spoke to Kenneth Copeland IS NOT the Jesus of the Bible! Copeland is not equal with God, and never will be.
