Manasseh Jordan: The Pushing Prophet

I have watched Benny Hinn scream at the top of his lungs, speak deep and guttural, hiss like a snake, threaten to shoot Christians with a "Holy Ghost" machine gun, place curses on adults and children, strike people hard with his coat, and push and shove his followers violently to the floor.

I have watched Todd Bentley push, shove, head-butt, and knee-kick his followers, and boast about choking, clothes-lining, banging legs up and down on a platform, kicking a woman in her hip, and slapping an elderly lady so hard her body slammed through a door and slid across a floor.

Nothing but pure evil from men who claim to be Christian.

If there was an award in the hyper-Charismatic camp for the Worst Stage-Show Performance, Benny Hinn and Todd Bentley would be co-winners in the Push and Kick category.

Recently, I watched Benny Hinn's apprentice act out his own worst stage-show performance thus far, in what was advertised as a "Miracle Crusade" at the Revival Church for the Nations, Boston.

But instead of miracles, the crusade turned into a push and shove festival, starring Manasseh Jordan, the Pushing Prophet.

During the 9:06 YouTube video, Manasseh pranced and prophesied, shouted and screamed, and pushed and shoved at least fifteen men and women--some so hard and violent they flew backwards and slammed to the floor before the catchers could soften their fall.

At 2:28 into the video, Manasseh pushed three men backwards, hard, then instructed the catchers to pick them up. Seconds later, Manasseh backed up, jumped up and down, walked quickly towards one of the men and slapped him on his chest. The catchers barely broke the man's fall to the floor.

"THERE'S A PROPHETIC ANOINTING HERE!" Manasseh shouts. "THERE'S A PROPHETIC ANOINTING HERE! THERE'S A PROPHETIC ANOINTING HERE! DEAR JESUS! DEAR JESUS! DEAR JESUS!" he ranted.

At 3:49 into the video, Manasseh pushed a woman while he blew into his microphone. After calling out four women and pushing two, Manasseh returned to his stage, pushed a man to the floor, then called for man named Marco and Marco's wife.

At 4:51 into the video, Manasseh told Marco's wife she would "conceive a child." Then, Manasseh stepped over a body laying on the stage floor and pushed Marco's wife backwards, hard and violently.

At this point, I was so overwhelmed with emotion I stopped watching the video for a few minutes. What is wrong with these people?! I thought. How could the pastors, and the men in the congregation, stand around and allow this to happen?! How could Marco allow his small, frail wife to be pushed, and pushed hard?!

Returning to the video, Marco's wife recovered and returned to center-stage where, as the catchers held her outstretched arms, Manasseh pushed her again.

At 7:15 into the video, Manasseh's interpreter shoved his right hand onto a young man's forehead and pushed. The catchers didn't catch the man in time, and he fell backwards and landed face-down.

The video ended with Manasseh stating, "The anointing is strong...It's time that the gospel is preached all around the world...MONEY CANNOT BE AN ISSUE!"

The so-called "anointing" Manasseh Jordan claims is not prophetic, nor is it from the Jesus of the Bible. In fact, it isn't an anointing at all. It is, however, the same evil that resides within Benny Hinn, Todd Bentley, and many within the Word of Faith and Prophetic Movement.

People need to wake up! Pushing people to the floor under any condition is extremely dangerous, especially for women, and could result in serious bodily injury. Unfortunately, what took place at the Revival Church for the Nations will, no doubt, be repeated elsewhere.

Finally, review the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITKzG9Cj6O4  . Would you allow anyone to violently push and shove people in your church, including your wife?

Do not envy a man of violence, and do not choose any of his ways (Proverbs 3:31).

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23).

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy (James 3:17).
