1. Amputated Jesus?

False Christians within the Prophetic Movement are notorious for producing some of the most ridiculous and outlandish visions on record, and Patricia King is no exception. Her visions of "Jesus" have escalated from surreal to downright hideous.

For example, in a YouTube video titled, Patricia King: Visions of Jesus, King smiles innocently into the camera and asks,

Have you ever had a vision of Jesus? Would you like to? I'm gonna pray for your eyes to be opened to behold the glory of the Lord like never before. He wants to give us visions of His goodness, of, of His fullness. And the Bible is full of vision... [Extreme Prophetic, November 10, 2010, http://tinyurl.com/PattysImagination ]

Worshipping a false "Jesus" isn't enough for King, she wants to draw her viewers into her realm of deception by enticing them to have their own visions.

At 3:05 into the video, King describes in detail her "disturbing vision" of Jesus, where the "Jesus" of her imagination blows her mind, and changes in an instant from an image of majesty to an image of self-mutilation:

I remember one of the first visions that I had of Jesus--was kind of a disturbing vision in a way--because I saw Him as a majestic warrior. And He, He was like, it was stronger than in my mind's eye, but it was quite an open, open vision, like, as though you're standing right in front of me.

It was like, in, in a, in a vision, in a feint vision form, but strong enough in my heart that I could tell what He was. And He was this huge warrior, and He was majestic and He looked so strong and, and, and He was a God that couldn't be conquered. He was beautiful and He had all His armor on and everything.

And then all of a sudden I started seeing this vision--Him taking His sword and started cutting off His hand and cutting off His feet, cutting off His knees, and He dismembered Himself.

And I was horrified with that vision, 'cause He had been so beautiful and so strong. I said, "Lord, I don't understand. Why are you cutting yourself up?" And He said, "That's what happens to Me when My body cuts up each other, because they're cutting up the members of My body."

Patricia King's amputated "Jesus" is not the Jesus of the Bible. But she is right on one thing: her so-called vision was disturbing. Therefore, who is more disturbed, the image in Patricia King's mind or Patricia King?

Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; they speak a vision of their own imagination, not from the mouth of the LORD" (Jeremiah 23:16).

2. Clueless in California

Without exception, all false teachers are overshadowed by a demonic band-leader, and dance to the tune of a false god. A steady chorus line of false teachings clutter and fog the mind, disrupts the ability to think clearly, and draws the listener further away from the true God and His written word.

Just as con artists scam the innocent and unwary with smooth talk and half-truths, false teachers mix a little truth with a lot of error, and do so with a smile on their faces.

Kris Vallotton is an integral part of Bill Johnson's Bethel Church and the Prophetic Movement, which is a movement that runs wild with blasphemers of God, heretics, false prophets, false healers, and false signs and wonders.

During a YouTube video titled "False Prophets" (posted September 7, 2010, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ0w0GrwHVI ), Vallotton appears to express concern over what he sees happening in the prophetic ministry globally. He says that people are putting prophetic words on the internet and, when their words are wrong, they withdraw them and never say, "I'm sorry."

Nonetheless, read carefully the following excerpts from Vallotton's video message, and pay particular attention to how he mixes a little truth with a lot of error:

To believe Kris Vallotton is to believe there is a difference between a thief and a robber, a liar and a fibber, and a con man and a scam artist.

Furthermore, does the Bible draw a distinction between a false and bad prophet? No. False is false and bad is bad. God was against false prophets thousands of years ago, and He still is (Jeremiah 23:9-40; Matthew chapter 24).

A robber is a thief. A fibber is a liar. A scam artist is a con man. A bad prophet is a false prophet. All are one in the same.

Kris Vallotton is clueless to what God's written word teaches about false prophets. He would do well to shake the Prophetic Movement monkey off his back, study his Bible and take it seriously, and follow his own advice:

I just think it's important for us not to stretch the Bible to mean something it doesn't say.

3. Message from a Dirty Birdy?

What does one say to a false prophet, false teacher, and false healer who, at the same time, claims to visit heaven on a regular basis, and have super-duper, one-on-one visitations with angels and "Jesus Christ"?

Hmmm...

Anyway, go to http://plixi.com/photos/original/33888730 and notice what's resting on Todd Bentley's tee shirt. The caption under the photo reads, "Man the birds are big down here LOL"

There is nothing funny about whatever it is on Todd Bentley's tee shirt--and what it stands for. Frankly, it doesn't matter what it is. What does matter is the message it sends, which doesn't sit well with Bentley's messages about himself:

In the early days of my Christian life the Holy Spirit sternly dealt with me about ungodly music, sexual purity, and a set-apart lifestyle. [Journey Into the Miraculous, Sound of Fire Productions, 2003, p. 88, book on file]

My life is a message, a prophetic signpost of what God wants to do with millions of others. [Journey Into the Miraculous, Destiny Image Publishers, January 1, 2008, p. 22, book on file]

Since the photo may mysteriously disappear, you may want to disinfect it before saving it for future reference.

4. Integrity 'R' Us?

In a press release dated January 6, 2011, Senator Chuck Grassley released his long-awaited findings on the investigation into six media-based telescamgelists ( http://tinyurl.com/GrassleyReport ).

Two days later in a statement titled, "Benny Hinn Ministries Receives Encouraging Senate Report" ( http://tinyurl.com/TeflonToufik ), Benny Hinn released his comments on Senator Grassley's comments, and stated in part to his "loyal partners" that,

From the beginning of this inquiry, I have sent letters and e-mails letting you know the progress, so you already know that over the past three years I have personally led the effort to encourage greater transparency and more aggressive self-governance in our ministry and have encouraged our executives and everyone on our staff to follow that example.

I don’t know how to share what I’m feeling right now without letting you know what our commitment to this process of openness and positive change has cost us.

Note the words "encourage greater transparency" and "openness and positive change" Hinn used to soothe and smooth the doubts and fears of those who have contributed millions of dollars to his "ministry" and lavish lifestyle.

Note that elsewhere in Hinn's statement he used words such as,

Now that Benny Hinn is on record as going "above and beyond" the call of duty to comply with Senator Grassley's investigation, and now that he has skate-boarded his way out of another controversy, perhaps he will come full-circle and demonstrate his "solid reputation" and "highest level of integrity" by admitting to and repenting of his:

Taking it two steps further, perhaps Benny Hinn will now post his Benny Hinn Ministries financial statement for the world to see. Perhaps he will repent, renounce the Word of Faith garbage, be born again, seek solid, Bible-based Christian counseling, and serve the real Jesus Christ.

After all, it was Benny Hinn who once said:

I have never lied to you. Never. I never will. I'd rather die than lie to God's people. [Trinity Broadcasting Network, Praise the Lord, December 29, 2002]
